JaneNk Nwanne
JaneNk is an Inspirational speaker, Eldercare Business Provider and Coach. Born and raised in Nigeria JaneNk migrated to America in 2004 with very little money and no job prospects. As an immigrant, JaneNk struggled to survive in the new environment as she sought to get accustomed to the new economic, cultural, and political systems of America. With resilience and perseverance, she overcame several challenges and began to thrive.
JaneNk developed a passion for caring for the elderly and the disabled growing up in Nigeria where the culture there is to care for elderly parents and grandparents in your own home. She also grew fond of her grandmother whom she cared for who was suffering from Alzheimer disease.
In America JaneNk worked 4years as a nursing assistant in nursing homes and assisted living homes. She became deeply concerned about the quality of care when she was personally responsible for more than 20 residents under her care in one shift. She found the demands unjust and inhumane both for the patients and for herself as a health professional. Out of her passion to see people thrive, and based on her appreciation of caring for elderly family members in Nigeria, JaneNk created her own Assisted living facility.
Today, JaneNk manages and operates multiple Home-Like assisted living facilities. She also trains new and aspiring owners on how to start their own assisted living facility that will position them to operate a business that is both rewarding and that creates wealth.
JaneNk inspires immigrants and people of color to dream big through mindset coaching and motivational speaking, as a way of paying it forward for the success that she has been afforded.
She empowers people to create a mindset shift that automatically equips them to achieve lasting success.
JaneNk is the author of,“Stir Up the Gift Within: Discover Your Extraordinary True self”, A thought-provoking motivational book that helps readers to learn the golden path to unlocking the success that resides on the inside of them.

FROM JIMMA, TO MORNIGSIDE HEIGHTS
Our story starts in Ethiopia, where our founder Abdulsalam, grew up working in his father’s clinic, treating patients homeopathically with roots and herbs from their family farm. After political turmoil broke out in his hometown of Jimma, Abdulsalam fled to Kenya to live in a refugee camp for five years.
Shortly after arriving in America, Abdulsalam rediscovered the passion he’d found while working at his father’s clinic. This inspired Abdulsalam to open Oasis Jimma Juice Bar in Harlem. Today, people from near and far travel the byways of New York City to get the best in fresh food and beverages. And the rest of the story is…healthy.
